There is something about pink in September.

In summer, it feels almost inevitable — light, bright, a little carefree. But when September arrives, pink changes. It becomes softer, quieter, more considered. It is no longer simply about summer. It is about transition, a new rhythm, and the desire to keep a little light in the wardrobe as the days slowly become shorter.

This season, we find ourselves returning to pink — but not to just one shade or one mood.

We like a pink that does not need to be romantic. One that can feel feminine, yet simple and everyday. A pink that sits naturally alongside denim, milky tones, grey, brown or deep blue.

There is the pink short-sleeved knit — simple in shape, with just enough colour to make an everyday look feel different.

There is the pink long-sleeve top with delicate ruffles — a little softer, with a detail that makes it special without feeling too obvious.

And then there is the very soft oversized cotton sweater. It is about comfort, ease and the kind of piece you want to reach for again and again. Its pink feels almost like an extension of that softness.

There is also the short-sleeved jumpsuit with shorts — relaxed, effortless and almost carefree. A piece that carries a little of summer with it, yet still feels right for September.

The wide cotton trousers in powder pink tell a different story. Quieter in colour, but stronger in silhouette. They can be worn with a simple shirt, knitwear or a favourite long-sleeve top — creating a slightly different mood each time.

And finally, a milky silk blouse with a delicate pink stripe. Perhaps the most subtle way to bring pink into a look. Here, it is not the main colour — just a detail. And perhaps that is why you notice it.

Maybe that is what we like most about pink right now.

It can be many things. Bright or almost powder-soft. A soft knit or a touch of silk. The main statement or barely-there detail. Relaxed and oversized or defined by a wide, considered silhouette.

And it does not have to be sweet. Pink can be grown-up. Quiet. Minimal. Even a little unexpected.

In September, as the wardrobe slowly changes and summer pieces begin to make room for something warmer, there is something comforting about keeping a little light around.

Perhaps that is why pink feels right now.

Not as a trend. Not as a colour for one particular season. Simply as another way to bring a little softness into everyday life.

A little more pink, before autumn begins.
